These are some cute pics of Lilah after getting out of the "bath" I use the word "bath" very loosely because it's more of a wet down. Her poor little casts haven't allowed her to enjoy a real bath yet. But luckily they come off next Friday (to be replaced by the nasty "brace shoes") So she'll get a real bath then! I'll do a nice lovely post about her casts next Friday! They suck. But, I am grateful for them because my little Lilah-Lou-Bug will be able to run because of them!
This was so funny! He kept asking to do it again saying, "Come on, daddy! COME ON!!" I wish I'd gotten more of it but my camera died!

Never Leave Your 2 yr Old Unattended...
Especially if there is chocolate pie on the counter! Boston came upstairs into my room asking me to open a little bag of candy. When I saw this...I almost died! I need to invent a device that allows me to take Lilah with me wherever I go while I nurse her. Then I can follow this little "criminal" around! Note the chair that is covered in chocolate and the counter! Oh my. How do people keep a clean house with kids in the mix? I think that Heavenly Father designed kids to look cute so they would make it to adulthood!
PS Boston just gave me this sweet hug from the back, squeezing my legs. And I thought, "What a sweet little guy!" No sooner did that thought pass my mind than this "sweet guy" took a big bite outta my bootie! He's never bit me before and this is how he decides to start?! Holy Moses
And to end this on a positive note, here's our little lady, what a cute girl! It's sad that half of the pics that I have of her are when she's in her car seat! Poor little princess! :)

Happy Halloween!
This year was such a fun Halloween! Boston totally lucked out because he went to three different "Trunk or Treats" the week of Halloween, he totally got used to saying "Trick or Treat" and getting candy. He was a pro by Halloween, it was hilarious! And Richie and I benefited from his "spoils" I wasn't going to let this little criminal eat all of the candy himself! However, if you got too close to his candy, he knew what was going to happen so he started saying, "No mom, no thank you. No share candy." It was pretty funny. We had to take it from him while he was sleeping! He carried his candy around for a full week and kept telling anyone who'd listen, "Look, my candy!!" He was one proud pirate!
Since Lilah is so little, I decided that it was pointless to buy a costume for her, nothing would fit her. But Becky let me borrow some of her baby clothes and I found this little snuggly thing with ears on it so we made her a teddy bear/mouse. She was mighty cute...not to mention toasty warm! We started the night at the Ware's house and had some delicious Papa John's pizza and then all of the kids got together to go trick or treating together. Jackson was a cute Thomas the Train, Marina was a darling monkey, Boston was a reckless pirate, and Ayden was a funny monster!
Boston was so excited to get candy that he would smile on demand. I wish he'd do that when we are taking pictures with Abbey! I guess I should start bringing candy to our photo shoots! :)
Boston and Richie had so much fun! Richie teased me for putting stuff on his face but I thought it made it so much cuter and let's be honest, pirates are dirty, there aren't any showers when you're "at sea"!
Here's the whole gang (Boston was very concerned that Ayden had otter pops and he didn't). From left to right: Marina, Sadie, Jackson, Jaden, Ayden, and Boston.
After trick or treating, we went to Richie's parents house to say hi and show off our cute kiddies. Boston decided that he wanted to hold and kiss Lilah. I'm so glad that he likes her so much!
I hope everyone's Halloween was as fun as ours! Happy Late Halloween!

Lilah's First Photo Shoot!

The day that we came home, our darling photographer, Abbey, squeezed us in for a photoshoot. I was SO excited! Boston wasn't able to get a real newborn shoot since he was in the NICU for 9 weeks and then we were
on house arrest for 6 months! Abbey always does the cutest pictures, even when the kids aren't cooperating! For instance, this was actually the first time that Boston had ever met Lilah and he'd been at various family throughout the week so he wasn't really doing much. He wouldn't smile and he wasn't overly interested in holding her. He kept pointing to her umbilical cord and saying, "EWW POOP" It was pretty funny. And Lilah pooped all over Richie...poor guy, I was s

itting down cuz I was so sore and I started laughing so hard that I couldn't even stand up to help.
The laughing hurt so bad that I was really incapacitated!
I'm just going to post a couple of my favorite pictures. And you can see how good Ab
bey is...and how freaking cute my little lady is. :) Chewing on her hands, laying on a box, snuggling with mom and dad, she's adorable! And now Boston definitely knows that she's here and he loves her! A little too much sometimes! In other news, she had her 2 week checkup last week and she weighed 7 lbs 13 oz. That's 9 oz above her birth weight. I was so glad because I wasn't sure how she was doing with this nursing business. It started a little rough but I'm getting the hang of it! I had to pump the ENTIRE time with Boss so I felt like a novice. They couldn't measure her length because of the casts that are correcting her poor little feeties. Since she was breech the whole time, she had turned in feet and her muscles need to be reminded that they're the wrong way!
